Double Exposure Workshop @ LUSC

We had a most successful Workshop hosted by Colin Bennett , John Upton and Harry Bryant on Tuesday afternoon.

Harry ‘s lecture was about Tethering one’s camera to an external device such as Laptop, Ipad, Android, Iphone whilst shooting, making assessment of correct lighting, pleasing posing, stray hairs, sharpness at the same time you are conducting your shoot. Ideal when doing portraits, still-life and macro… any static subject. The beauty of this method is that your model can also see the outcome immediately and can adjust their pose, chin-angle, creases in clothing etc.

Colin’s lecture was on: “How to do Double Exposures in Photoshop.” Any number of images can be combined in this way. Colin also touched on improvements in Photoshop and Lightroom and will do an in-depth discus-sion at the Workshop on Saturday 12th March 9-12 @ EDCC. Please come along and join this informative workshop.

John hosted the “Double Exposure in Camera” station playing model and helping members to set up Double Exposure in their camera-menu, with correct settings to obtain photos in Camera.
