Camera settings and techniques — Practical Workshop

In this workshop we will look at more techniques to improve your photography. There will be brief instructions on the following topics:

  • Exposure Compensation: overriding the camera’s auto exposure setting
  • Mode Settings: when to use Aperture — Shutter — Manual — Auto
  • Focus Tracking: predictive focus to track moving objects/action shots

then out in the garden to practice the above techniques using back button focussing on selected subjects

  • Also an opportunity to ask our experts about any queries or problems you may have, including camera set-up
