Sue Lawson has kindly offered to share her photography knowledge and skills with the “Photo Club Rookies”.

The aim would be to better understand our equipment, including the very basics.  Ranging from holding your camera correctly, calibrating the viewfinder, camera menus and basic camera settings, tripod setup etc.

Depending on the attendance and interest it is likely “Rookie” gatherings may develop into more regular gatherings with lessons on composition tips, aperture & depth of field lessons, shutter speed and movement discussions, ISO, Lighting, etc.

Sue has proposed our initial meeting at Roto House be held on Tuesday, 24^thJanuary.  We’d meet at 9:30am, bring our gear, grab a coffee then begin the serious business of mastering this dark art.  Those interested could then enjoy lunch at Henry’s Bar and Restaurant near Club Wyndham in Flynn Street, Flynns Beach.
