- Mode Settings: when to use Aperture — Shutter — Manual — Auto
- Focus Tracking: predictive focus to track moving objects/action shots
- then out in the garden to practise above techniques using back button focussing on selected subjects. Images will be reviewed by the convener
- Also an opportunity to ask our experts about any queries or problems you may have, including camera set-up menus
Convener: John Smith and others Cost: $5·00 cash on the day
You will be requested to register for this event for seating and catering reasons. Limit — 15
Linda has once again kindly offered to host a meeting in her beautiful garden
We will use the sheltered deck for our tutorial session and then out in the garden to capture shots
We’ll also be treated to Linda’s Devonshire teas mid morning —the other reason to attend
Please bring your camera for the workshop — and you may just get that competition shot!

Bruce is a local Port Macquarie photographer with many years experience under his belt. He does a lot of product and food photography
and has photographed big names when he was more active and mobile.
The Workshop will be a lecture on Composition and more specifically leading lines, curves, textures, shadows and other elements we use in composing a good photograph. Afterwards, we’ll do a practical shoot, looking to incorporate what we’ve learned in the lecture in our images. We’ll then go back inside, Bruce will download our images, project it on the screen and discuss the various endeavours of the members
