Our first Seminar of the Year in the Series : Get to know your Camera, was held at LUSC in Laurieton with John Smith as the Convener. Most of the Members present seemed to be using or have used their Camera’s Back Button facility. John Smith helped those who have not used it before to either allocate a button for it or to turn off the Shutter button’s focusing ability and use the AF/AL button as the Focus button .
We had lots of fun, learned a lot and had a half hour practice session to get everyone to use their back buttons whilst at the same time adjusting their exposure value-buttons and shoot against the light.
Thank you, John Smith (Smithie) for a great class, a practical hands-on class. We all took away something new today from the Seminar.
